 A LOW GROAN  escapes the twi’lek’s  lips  as he  unbuckles himself from the escape pod’s seat and stands in the mouth of it,  looking at the pod that fell a short distance away.  he turned and looked in disdain at the smoke he could see rising a long distance away,  presumably where their ship had crashed and was now catching fire.    this was ...   not an ideal situation,   especially since his own padawan  --   practically the only person in the entire galaxy he was semi - comfortable with  --   had dove into  the escape pod with  master kenobi.  which meant  nor’beru  was  stuck with  braig.    great.  

he jumped over the side of the bubble - like machinery,  chin lifted in distaste to survey his surroundings.   the jungle was thick.   he ignited his blue lightsaber in order to cut down the vines that separated braig’s pod and his own.   “padawan.  are you unharmed?”   nor’beru  called for him,  his voice heightened to such a volume sounding odd on his lips,   as if he was unused to speaking over a noncommittal murmur.
