Decadent even.#Monsieur Gustave's story being told through three layers of storytelling filters?#The way we know him only as he presented himself to people who loved or hated him?#The plot being about a murder mystery that the protagonists are entangled with due to others holding a grudge...#And so much more.#I also love the idea of using this AU to explore my take on the Lan Sizhui and Wei Wuxian Dynamic.#I can't and probably won't ever see them in a 'father/son' dynamic.#I understand the appeal and the popular portrayal of them as such - but it's not for me!#Having them be like a mentor/mentee situation - or rather a 'I see my old self in you and I wish to help you grow into yourself'#Simply has a better texture for me to chew on.#The reversal of this AU is also a funny concept to play around with.#M. Gustave's max charisma would result in so much chaos.#Instead of the song he plays revealing his identity - its the perfume he always associated himself with.#I think WWX could solve the GBH murders. I think M.Gustave would charm someone else into solving MDZS's mysterys for him.#I'm so tempted to make more of this AU...Let me see how I feel in July.#Note for the second comic: I personally lean towards demisexual WWX but this line from the movie gave me comic inspiration.#Something about making up facts about someone and then revising it on the spot to fit conflicting narratives...

She's unlike anyone else he's interacted with there. Different.#I know some people interpreted him to be nodding as if to urge her to move on #but I think she keeps surprising him #and he genuinely is interested in knowing her #He was not expecting her answers to be so lengthy.#I think he's gotten good at putting up a wall and only letting people see what he wants them to see #Pretending to be nonchalant in situations that call for it.#Some form of self preservation for the environment he's in.#Characters with many layers are so appealing 'cause it's like... well why do you act the way you do? or rather choose to be.#I love the ones that aren't what you see is what you get. Really spurs me to unravel the mystery #I say this as someone who decided within seconds of meeting Mel that she's my fave. There's no reason why Langdon can't share that spot tho #It makes me laugh those last two gifs. Mel is full prepared to tell her whole life story #And Langdon is there being inundated with information overload. But he's also absorbing that information like a sponge.#'Cause he was actively listening to her. She really caught him off guard towards the end tho.#I think he's gone through moments of being desensitised that when Mel comes along those parts of himself that he's put away #come up for air. Her open nature encourages him to lower that wall and be his authentic self.#where others have led him to retreat into putting up a facade that gives the illusion of fitting into their working environment #and so here is this enthusiastic person who not only matches his energy to a degree #but is someone who wears their heart on their sleeve. A safe space is being created between them. And with that a special bond.#Some would even say kindred ;)#We gotta show that we're not too soft by moulding oneself to a seemingly asshole\detached persona to fit or blend in #with our surroundings\people. But Mel's showing him that maybe that's not a weakness. And so the softness breaks through.#⭐

any plans with more than 1 forsaken involved is actually just a comedy imo they are amazing at fucking themselves over (and it all went even further downhill)

combine that with Rand going in aiming to outsmart both of them turning everything into more of a mess and you got....well, Rhuidean down mostly at that point

I don't need the main characters to defeat the others I need a scene where Lyanna and Rhaegar discuss baby names and their chosen girl name is Alysanne so all of the "Rhaegar wanted a Visenya/Rhaegar was trying to recreate the conquerors/Rhaegar would have hated Jon because he wasn't a girl" people to shut the fuck up forever
