Mariku had actually arrived wearing longer sleeves, gold hoops with one cuff on the upper part. He wanted to dress warmer considering the cooler weather that Japan had in comparison to Egypt.
Once Ryo had welcomed him he went right over to bend over and examine the selection of movies that the white-haired laid out on the table.
"This one." Mariku said while handing over his pick- Pet Semetary- the title seemed amusing enough. He couldn't wait to see which one Ryo had in mind.
He took the bag of freshly popped popcorn, and sat down still giving a decent distance from Ryo. At first he sniffed the top of the small slitted opening much like a canine might, and then he tried a piece.
"What's soda?" He asked Ryo taking another bite of popcorn. "This stuff is pretty good." He said with a hum. Malik didn't keep such things on hand in their shared apartment. He made exceptions for meat and anything not a vegetable.
He already noted how excited the other seemed about their movie night in.
