Yes! Paperback is coming soon, although it’s going to be a bit more expensive than my previous paperbacks, because it’s (gulp) 430 pages. That’s also why I’m waiting to get an actual proof copy in my hands, just to make sure that it’s, like... structurally sound. But hopefully by the weekend the paperback will be out! :D

I'm looking for a post-WS recovery fic where Bucky takes refuge in an abandoned apartment and ends up with like 8 cats or something--I think he starts with 3 but then one of them has kittens? And the cats get sick or he realizes he can't care for all of them himself, or something, so he gathers them up and goes home to Steve?
as much as i love cats, i am having no luck finding them. i know of multiple where bucky rescues some kittens, but none where he lives in an abandoned apartment and then has to call steve for help.

I normally don’t warn for spoilers after it’s aired, but also I usually warn for the lack of warning, so yes. I’ll try to for the next week--sorry for the spoiler (and that it’s such a downer).
Hi I remember a story where Clint missed a shot or something -- maybe felt like he was unnecessary on the Avengers? -- and he left. The whole team goes after him, most of the Avengers assuming he was in danger/being tailed by baddies/something. But Nat and Phil know better; Nat ends up handcuffing him to a motel room chair, and he and Phil have it out. Phil had a binder of all the missions where having Clint there saved people. I may be conflating 2 stories? I'd love to reread both if so.
I’m pretty sure you are conflating two stories. The part with Nat handcuffing him to a motel room chair is from SHIELD Has Paperwork for Everything by scifigrl47, but the part with the binder of mission reports is from The Long Dark Night That Follows by james, which is locked to ao3 users. In both cases, Clint leaves SHIELD and neglects to tell his team(s).
