ahh, the jude deathisode. couldn't have happened to a lovelier lady, really. this one's been near and dear to my heart since its release, because it was the one that came out as I started to write my mechanisms crossover au. there's just so many good little bits to like about this ep, but my favorite is quite frankly the sheer angst potential. martin slapping jon, martin saying how much he hates burns when jon's fucked-up hand is right there. it really shows off how stressed out they are and how much of a toll the apocalypse is taking on them both (if in different ways)

Heheheh thank you so much!! 😊 The other day I was sent a post from a certain artist saying that they draw Martin skinny because in their headcanon, he grows more "frail" (skinny) as time goes on because his patron "feeds on him" (eats his fat???? apparently???) and it annoyed me so much that I immediately had to draw him as god (and Jonny) intended 😤 Martin is fat and that's just the fact of the matter! 👏

I’ve hit a dilemma where I technically have a lot I could talk about for the magic of The Warlord Contracts, but since the main characters who end up with magic of their own all get it late in the game and who they are and what they can do is a very spoilery topic, I’ll let my lovely followers offer up some facts about their wip’s magic instead!
