It allowed me to introduce one half of my music family to the other half of my art+design family for one big celebration. Many relationships grew from this show. I was in art school at the time and many of my classmates didn’t even know I did music, and many of my music fans didn’t even know about my endeavors with art and design but it was a beautiful moment in time. Throwback Thursday: 8 years ago, I stepped out on faith and put in my 2 weeks notice, then dropped an album called “2 Weeks Notice!!” In my quest of doing music full-time, I started getting involved with the art direction of my projects. Things suddenly took off, hence my professional design career started! Look at me now, it was well worth the sacrifice and humility to give up certain privileges to gain so much knowledge and insight.
