The Real Victims

I know Disney movies are especially emotional. But I seriously cry every time I watch Criminal minds. It’s so sad to watch some people’s lives (even if they are fictional) end up all messy. They make poor decisions and they end up hurting the people they love. Or people are taken, and it’s equally sad when someone doesn’t get rescued.

I could never be a cop. I would not be emotionally stable enough to watch people die or watch people screw themselves up. I’d be way to compassionate and merciful.

I also wonder what I would do in a situation where I was being tortured or kidnapped, or raped. I hope I would be strong and able to withstand any pain with dignity. I hope I wouldn’t let them get to me. And I hope that I would be brave.

S/O to all the real victims out there. Our hearts are with you. I can only imagine what it must be like to have been through that kind of hell.

Last words: Love everyone and be kind whenever you can. If we were all kinder and happier, we wouldn’t have so many people in emotional distress that are willing to destroy a human life. Love your family. Love your friends. Love your neighbors. Love that weird kid at school, because he might seriously need it.
