11 Questions Tagged by: The one and only Sherlock Holmes, thereichenbachfraud. Rule 1 - Post the rules. Rule 2 - Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post and then make 11 new ones. Rule 3 - Tag 11 people and link them to your post. Rule 4 - Let them know you’ve tagged them. The Questions:
1. What was your first character in a roleplay?
This one.
2. Earliest book you can remember reading/hearing?
Er...some picture book about woodland creatures, with fantastically gorgeous illustrations. My dad taught me how to read, and I have this weirdly clear memory of being about three years old, sitting on his lap, and proudly reading the word 'fox' out loud without even having to sound it out. It was a proud moment. 3. Who inspires you, and how?
Christopher Lee inspires the hell out of me. Of course, not that I could ever come close to being as incredible as he is, so not inspiring in the sense that I want to emulate him, but rather inspiring in the sense that it is nice to know that people as fantastically interesting as he is exist in this world to balance out the boring.
4. If you could pick a fandom to exist in, what would it be and why?
Lord of the Rings, hands down. Since sixth grade I have wanted nothing more out of life than to be transported out of Midgard and into Middle Earth (see what I did there?) Specifically, I want to be an Elf. I don't know, there's just something so...pure about Middle Earth. About the wilderness and the monsters and the endless potential for adventure...I would love nothing more than to ride across the Riddermark, climb trees in Mirkwood, sing in Lothlorien, attend a Hobbit party in the Shire, fight Orcs in the Misty Mountains... I crave it. Which is bad, since I'm stuck here.
5. Tea or coffee?
Tea, the nectar of the Gods.
6. Why you picked your current character?
He picked me. I just had this absolutely overwhelming urge to create a Loki RP. I thought I might burst if I did not. So, to prevent that from happening, I submitted to my craving. Best mistake of my life.
7. Do you believe in love at first sight?
No. I think that there's attraction at first sight, but love is different. Love takes time.
8. Is there anything you’d change about your life if given the chance?
If I thought that I would in any way be able to support myself in a writing career, I would transfer to a school in the UK and major in English literature.
9. What superpower would you pick?
Since I was a child, my answer to this has always been one of two things: the ability to fly, or the ability to turn myself invisible.
10. How long have you been roleplaying?
A month. However, I have been writing for much longer than that, which requires the author to get into the head of the character in much the same way. Besides that, I fancy myself to be a decent actor. Through a combination of all of those factors, I managed to establish myself as a fairly proficient rper without having had an ounce of experience preceding the end of March.
11. One of your favourite headcanons for a character you play?
Loki has developed a fondness for ice cream (thank you, Emma). He won't eat it alone, but when she offers it to him he won't refuse (unless something's really wrong with one of them). He likes the coldness of it, the texture, and the sweetness. He doesn't care much about the taste, and so he doesn't have a favorite flavor.
