First 5K race done and dusted. To say I was proud of myself for smashing down all sorts of psychological barriers on this day would be a MASSIVE UNDERSTATEMENT.

thereluctantrunner replied to your photo:the last (hopefully) of the grass seed went down...
Is your landlord giving you money for this or is it all your own dollars?
it's all out of my pocket, but it's a private yard -- nobody else in the building has access to it, so I've got incentive to keep it up and make it nice, because I'm the one who gets to enjoy all of it!
plus, I don't want to have a shitty yard when all my friends come over for a BBQ. that would be shameful.
Hey thereluctantrunner! This aerobic workout will really compliment T25. I used to do it when I was 8.
My back is not 100% this morning.
Got up for work, showered, dressed, and ready to go.
At that moment my back started to tingle and I decided that it wasn’t worth the risk.
I hate taking a sick day but I think it is better to be safe than sorry. Don’t want my vacation to be ruined because I over worked it.
What’s that you ask, another vacation? Ya, just call me Reluctant…
Boston Run to Remember. Sinus infection acquired. Dropped down to 5 miler and not the least bit mad about it. RR so graciously dropped with me with much (read: little) convincing. Rook and Johnna located. I've also found where all of the eligible bachelors are hiding. They are in Boston.
Tired...
My week so far…
Sat- Run 10 miles, do school work, spend time with family.
Sunday- Work 8 Hours, do outline for paper, do discussions for school.
Monday- Work 13 hours, go home and right 3 pages on globalization for class.
Today- Wanted to run, needed sleep instead. Up to work 12 hour day. Need to start 5 page paper due this weekend on national power.
Rest of week- midterm due in International Law. Run some miles. 32 more hours of work. Double bridge run (15K) on Saturday. Early to work Sunday so I can be off for Super Bowl.
It seems like a lot when I think about it, but I know next week is going to be amazing knowing that I have accomplished all I set out to do. As RR would say, I am going to make this week my bitch!
