The First Supper
It’s finally time for dinner, after a long day of unpacking and exploring, I’m starving! The first restaurant is a special one. We decided to all eat at the Sea Priest tonight. Maricella was missing sea food and I was dying to try a new dish from a far away culture. Now, you may be wondering how I will be rating the restaurant and I have come up with the perfect system that checks all the boxes! So let's cut to the chase, what better way to show you than by example?
Restaurant: The Sea Priest
Atmosphere/Decor: Traditional sea voyage style with influence from the eastern culture of Yokai and Kitsune.
Dress: Casual
Vibes: Familial, everyone seems to know everyone pretty well here. There's soft music in the background and you can see the chefs cooking from where you're sitting.
Service: Our waitress was a really nice young girl who happens to be the owners grand daughter. She was extremely kind and thoughtful. My glass of water was always full and she cleaned away plates the second we were done using them.
Food:
Dish: Omelette Rice
Flavor: (8/10) Excellent combination of sweet and savory. The sauce was a smoky sweet ketchup that matched perfectly with the vegetables in the fried rice.
Balance: (7/10) There were some moments where I felt like I didn't have enough egg to balance all of the rice. However, with the salad on the side, I was too full to eat the remaining rice after the egg was gone.
Value: (10/10) The meal was five gold pieces which was absolutely shocking for how delicious it was. The price seemed to be based completely on ingredient costs for the meal.
Presentation: (7/10) Listen, I don't want to be that person, but, I'm not sure there's many ways to present eggs and rice. However, the seven points allots for the gorgeous golden color of the eggs.
Overall, The Sea Priest is delicious and will definitely be a staple here at Solsburg. It has given me the opportunity to bond with my room mates over delicious food and will house my earliest memories here.
