Minecraft is a Java program, and it chews up CPU like a motherlover, while TF2 is actually a really simple game engine. Next time you play minecraft, open task manager and watch the CPU levels. If it’s spiking, that’s why. Close other programs

Minecraft uses a lot of ram. Also you need a fast hard drive for it to load the textures. An SSD would be ideal or a hybrid hdd. Also Java is a bitch
ahh that all makes a lot of sense thinking about it, I'm not really great with technical stuff so it's nice to actually understand why it's not working properly haha. I never have other programs open if I can help it, and have tried optifine (which was recommended to me a while back) and also changing to lower graphic settings which didn't help much, so I'm pretty sure it's just that my computer really can't handle running a program as... clunky as minecraft

To be fair, if you're just starting out it's likely someone you know or something who's trying to mess with you. Nonetheless, political blogs on here prolly get a ton of hate, so good luck with all the morons who think they know what they're saying
Lol no, I know who it is, they were just reblogging posts. But yeah I knew before I started it how much hate I would get, especially considering my political views differ from almost all of tumblr on like every subject
