Daily excerpt from today's writing, chapter 78 of A Stain that Won't Dissolve:
They were halfway down the mountain steps when Alex exhaled hard, already out of breath. ‘Fuck this mountain,’ he said. ‘My knees are killing me,’ Sebastian said. ‘You old fucking man,’ Alex groused. ‘How are you going to be useful at all with your dick if you can’t even get some thrusting action behind those- Hey! No! No tickling!’ Sebastian had an infectious, gleeful light in his eyes, even as they both held their hands up in an immediate truce. Sebastian had tried to tickle Alex, Alex had tried to return the favour, and now they were at a stand-off. When Sebastian laughed, plumes of steam followed into the night sky. ‘You don’t have to worry about how well I can fuck, trust me,’ Sebastian said. ‘Although, yeah, maybe I need to get more steps into my fitness regimen.’ ‘“Fitness regimen,”’ Alex mocked, and then jogged down the next ten steps just to prove he could, while Sebastian took them slower, and scowled as Alex waited for him to catch up. ‘Should just make you fucking ride me,’ Sebastian muttered. Alex’s cheeks were warm from more than the workout, and as they finally reached the path through the cemetery, Alex pressed his cool palms to them. ‘We have to stop talking about this now, so the ghosts of my grandparents don’t hear about our sex life.’ ‘They’re not hanging out here,’ Sebastian said incredulously. ‘Just in case!’ Alex said. ‘How’s it gonna feel when I die, and I see them? And Grandma Evelyn knows way too much about you and me?’
