DD: ADBK Magician of Black Chaos

Biography: It all began a dark, violent night 3 years before our story's present day; Zorc had begun a vicious campaign to take Druishire and Spell Henge itself from Dark Magician, seeing it as the biggest sore spot in his plans to conquer the Duelscape. 

During the ensuing invasion, Dark Magician was put to the ultimate test in regards to his leadership and magical abilities. Zorc's forces seemed close to finally winning, when a strange figure appeared from above, the full moon showing off his horned silhouette. 

At first, the Ryu-Kishin duo assumed it was one of their own Fiend commanders, but the two were promptly vaporized by the figure's Chaos Scepter Blast. He rained various Spells down upon the field, targeting any Fiend, Zombie or Spellcaster on Zorc's side, forcing even the stubborn Metal Guardian to retreat back to their dark realm from whence they came. 

When the dust settled, Dark Magician and his then relatively small band of fighters thanked the figure as he approached. He bent one knee and immediately pledged loyalty to The Kindred. He claimed to be the Magician of Black Chaos, a being who was a student of Exodia the Forbidden One. 

The Stern Mystic was confused by this, as he didn't know any student with his unique visage. To his credit, the Magician didn't recognize Stern Mystic either, but was glad to meet a Spellcaster of equal integrity and power.  

Now one of the leading Spellbinders, those such as Time Wizard, The Stern Mystic and Magician's Valkyria are trying to unlock the secrets of the Magician's past, as not even he remembers his true name. "Only one word comes to mind in regards to who I am," he said during his introduction, "it's the only one I recognize; Shada."

DD: ADBK Boo Koo

The Living Book of Ancient Spells

Biography: A comically enchanted knowitall, this literally bookish Spellcaster was the result of a misfired spell meant to bring to life of a dead wife by a young sorcerer named Ignatius Halferwater. Despite the Boo Koo being the exact opposite of what he planned, the living tome proved very useful due to being able to read himself, and became quite the bizarre adopted son.

Eventually, however, the sorcerer decided that Boo Koo was being squandered by being just his son and assistant. He went to the Kindred's Spellbinders to discuss this, and they decided to make the immortal book a member of their Tribe. He of course visits his father Ignatius whenever he can, but Boo Koo now uses his vast knowledge to archive the many Spells that can be activated by those skilled enough to use them.

DD: ADBK Copycat

Biography: An unusual being, Jeremiah Copycat is a former Exodia student that loved pranking his classmates by imitating them physically and in an acting sense. However, despite his immaturity, Stern Mystic saw great strength in Copycat, and has trained him on how to use his powers in a more constructive manner. Eventually, he became a Spellbinder, and even got a spot as a Toon World resident after saving Graverobber and Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon from a rampaging Mad Sword Beast.

DD: ADBK Lucky Trinket

The Unusual Magician of the Sun

Biography: During the days of the Egyptian God Cards, the Winged Dragon of Ra created a most unusual herald. Looking like something out of a toybox, Lucky Jack, also known as Lucky Trinket, has a mystical force attached to his being that can block attacks and extend his own power.

The only problem was that he was born eternally young, and even today isn't the most mature of beings. Because of this, after the self-imposed exile of the Egyptian Gods, Lucky Trinket was sent to work with some former students of Exodia in the recently formed Convent of Enlightenment.

After several years as both a convent member and a Spellbinder for the Dark Magician, he eventually found some equally unusual friends named Witch Raider, Gorz, and Reficule. During this time, he discovered his long arms and bead-like stumps-for-hands were perfect drumsticks, and together they became the Egyptian Rock Cards!

DD: ADBK Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer

The Scarred Exorcist

Biography: This Highlands native is perhaps one of the most devout in his pursuit of evil spirits. Disfigured by a flame spirit when he was a child, Kycoo has since learned how to locate and exorcise spirits from the Duelscape that cause suffering to the innocent.

His travels caught the attention of Jowgen the Spiritualist and Maha Vailo, who investigated and eventually convinced the veteran in ghostbusting to join The Kindred as an expert Zombie eradicator. "The only difference between the two", Kycoo often reasoned, "is that the flesh drops from the spirits frame when you exorcise a Zombie."

DD: ADBK Elemental Mistress Doriado

The Spellbinder of the Elements

The Kindred, The Elemental Guardians

Biography: Kind, quiet and quite adept, Doriado is a guardian of the elements, and was a former student of Exodia. She has disciples who serve different parts of the Duelscape, especially the Spellbinders of the Kindred Tribe.

She also has connections to the Guardian Demigods, specifically their leader, Guardian Eatos. Doriado also meditates to get better acquainted with the elements, and sometimes encounters Destiny HERO Dreamer in the process.

DD: ADBK The Tricky

The Gracious Enigma

The Kindred, The Mandate of Heaven

Biography: There are many mysterious Spellcasters in the Duelscape, and some have chosen to work with Dark Magician as one of his Spellbinders. Enter a being known simply as The Tricky, a strange being said to be from beyond the stars and can clone himself many times to create his signature attack, the Dyson Constellation Strike.

Tricky's origins are as mysterious as his form, as even Cosmo Queen is unsure of exactly where he comes from. What she does know is that he appeared one day as an ally and began striking down malicious entities en masse in her name.

He's officially a Kindred Tribesmen, though he travels around similarly to frontiersman like Orgoth the Relentless. He also, as attested to by Patrician of Darkness, can play a mean pipe organ.

DD: ADBK Kazejin

The Wizard of the Wind

Biography: There are three elemental guardians that serve as the pieces for their fused form of the Gate Guardian. There's Sanga of the Thunder, ruler of Luminous Cloud, Suijin, a powerful water elemental that serves as part of Atlantica's royal court, and Kazejin, the Highland pen-pal of Stern Mystic, and perhaps one of the best wind monsters in all of the Duelscape.

His massive lung capacity means that his Thunder Stroke Attacks and Squall Barricades can prove hard to withstand! He and his right-pawed man Frenzied Panda serve as a sort of windy buffer to prevent Dragons from entering a supposedly sacred realm to the west that could potentially be a shortcut to ALL tribal lands regardless of distance. He's also a Spellbinder, and will occasionally leave his home in the Windswept Hills to talk with his fellow Spellcaster friends.
