My second Fandom Trumps Hate 2024 piece: a drawing inspired by the absolutely brilliant fic The Pillar upon Which England Rests by @discordantwords. Thanks a lot to @thetimemoves who bid on my services. Read the fic here:
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
over our spoken words the words unspokenĀ by thetimemoves (WriteOut)
Johnlock Love LettersĀ #2015
On the longest night of the year, John finds his words and takes a chance.
Since both of you @thetimemovesā and @procrastinatorprojectā were curious about the same title, I hope you wonāt mind if I answer like this. š
Inside of My Years, Inside of My Bones is planned as a simple 5+1 Shetland fic with the working summary āfive times Jimmy told Duncan to go and one time he asked him to stayā. So thereāll be a snippet from each series (the S5 finale being the one in which he asks him to stay) plus one in which theyāre young adults. (Ever since Iāve read their backstory in the novels, Iāve lost all ability to think about them without presuming that they most definitely had a fling back then that meant more to both of them but they were too afraid to admit it.) Once again, the title is inspired by Brian Fallon (You Have Stolen My Heart; I love me a good lyrics-inspired title š )
Iāve just realised that the premise sounds rather similar to my other Shetland WIPs and it is heavily inspired by the same scenes, but what can I say. I guess it makes sense that I write and think about the aspects of their dynamic that fascinate and move me the most, and that definitely includes their long history as well as the undercurrents in their back and forth throughout the years.
WIP titles
For the fanfic meme, 10 and 14
10: rec one of your own stories
The Detective And The Sea is a Johnlockary fic, fluffy but a little bittersweet.
14: rec something that made you laugh out loud
The Adventure of the Hiccupping Detective by redbuttonhole, in which Sherlock needs to be cured from the hiccups.
Thanks for asking! :)
thetimemoves replied to your post āAO3 Invitation availableā
I just checked and I have one too (maybe because I finally posted a story instead of just bookmarking?); Iāll give it to one of your followers if you get more than one request. Consider it a thank you for all of the great recs!
Thank you so much! Yeah, AO3 has provided an invitation to every account that posted a story or made 10 comments. :)

Pretty! What kind of of stitch is that?
Itās what Americans call seed stitch and the British call moss stitch (apparently we have our own moss stitch?). Itās cast on with an odd number of stitches so I can just repeat all the rows starting with a knit stitch.Ā

you cool! i always swap this part and end up with all things way too tight (rarely too loose)⦠(lucky kitty ;)
Itās taken a really long time to knit a bit looser. They are very spoiled kitties.Ā
Lineart of my second 2024 Fandom Trumps Hate piece: @thetimemoves bid on my services to create art for the fantastic Sherlock fic The Pillar upon Which England Rests by @discordantwords
In case you havenāt read the story, itās a brilliant exploration of how Sherlock met Mrs Hudson and what exactly happened in Florida.
