Korrasami Fanwork Positivity Campaign - Round 6 Winner

I am absolutely honored to announce the winner of Round 6 is... @thewillowtree3​, for her lovely story What Others Do. Although I know the voters wanted to honor her not just for her writing, but for what SHE does--provide so much love and energy for this fandom!  As the process of putting round 6 together happened though, she, a dear friend of mine, unleashed the most titanic, orchestrated display of support and affection I’d ever received in my life, from people all over this fandom. She turned my having a surgery into one of the largest Korrasami fandom displays in years.  I was already really proud of the artist I’d signed up for round 6, but considering how amazing this was, and the fact that Pauline is my personal friend and a friend to so many... it was very convenient that this artist specializes in comic format.  The campaign paid for one page of fanart, as with anyone else.  Me and other people in the fandom that love Pauline paid the rest.  My dear friend: Here is your story, by the fantastic @artsypencil​ (here is her patreon, too!): 

Pauline, you’re a treasure, and just like how Korra and Asami inspired someone to be daring in your story, you inspire so many of us to be our best selves. “Lian was interested in building things, right when she was young.

Fiddling with toys, fumbling with blocks...climbing things (trees, specifically, in her orphanage caretakers’ horror).

Lian liked to think she was sturdy with her hands.

Mama was even sturdier, though. She was strong, and she built that big building with ‘Future Industries’ over it, and she worked hard . Lian would often sit in the workshop and watch, as she tinkered with toys, and did the thing with the...wrench, and turned things this way and that. She’d tighten circly things, and a lot of times, sparks would fly.

Mama sometimes let her turn the silver thing, but she never let her use fire.

It was okay, though.

She did ask Mama, if she could take Lian to work.”

It influences positivity even when people are at there lowest. I am currently at the lowest point in my life but reading about your journey. What you've accomplished. What you are to others...
