Words
I feel like my words have become so overused and meaningless. The amount of times I’ve said I love you the word no longer carries meaning because the person from which I’ve said it to is long gone. This person doesn’t feel the same. I long for someone I can say it to and have them feel the same. The amount of times I’ve said a girl is pretty or cute. I’ve always meant it but to me it just seems like something you say to make someone feel better about themselves. I feel like the things I’ve done in my past are important. I live in the now but from time to time my past drags me down. I feel scared to say those things once again, scared to admit when in love or infatuated with someone because apart of me knows… love comes and goes.

“Medusa” Its been so long since we last met yet you still make me sweat you make my heart shiver my blood run cold my body shake I can hear myself breathing but I feel like i’m suffocating the closer I get the tighter my chest feels words come to my mouth but get caught and I just walk past you as a stranger… I keep walking afraid to look back afraid to meet your gaze I’m afraid our eyes will meet and my heart will turn to stone and crumble all over again…
