Hi, I'm Mark. Nice to meet you. It's high time to talked about myself. So here goes: ~ I absolutely love telling stories. I’m not at all witty. In fact, I’m pretty sure I’m largely unintelligent, but I do know how to spin a tale that makes you go ooooo. And that’s why I’m opening up to you fine people now; in the hope you will one day read my work and go ooooo, 5 ‘o’s exactly. ~ The thing about me is that I have to excel at everything. My dad saw to that when he brought me up on the rugby pitch, and the football pitch, and the athletics track, and the badminton court. Oh no, he’s a sports freak. No actually, but I am wicked competitive. Don’t worry, Dad also brought me up a devout Catholic, making me get up at church to be one of them altar boys. So yes, I am competitive to a fault, but I love everyone while I do it. ~ So, with my passion for writing stories and all that spirit I carry around, what do you think I’m aspiring for? A novel of quality and originality. I know, I know what you’re thinking, and that’s fine. But I’m a stubborn monkey hanger and that glint of distinctiveness means the world to me. It’s why I started the Camino de Santiago, not from Saint Jean Pied de Port, but from Lourdes, because Lourdes is sentimental to me and it made my journey unique. ~ I have a background in software as well, let’s not forget that. Turns out I had a knack for analytics, and it’s that analytical knowhow I use to make all my good decisions in life. That’s why I abandoned my career as a web developer to follow my true passion of fantasy novel writing... I told you I wasn’t very smart ;) ~ So here I am, broke, aspiring to write a series of novels. When you read my works, I hope you are entertained.
