I find it weird that there are certain yoga poses that women tend to present more, and certain yoga poses that men tend to present more. I guess it’s in relation to body shape presentation. You know, muscles and curves and all that jazz. Anyway, this is one of those poses. It is more often presented by female practitioners than male practitioners. I’m not too sure why. Maybe because it is called “Goddess Pose” (although this pose was presented to me under the name “horse pose”). I imagine it feels fuckin great regardless if you’re a man or a woman. It seems to me that the presentation of yoga through social media is clearly shaped by male and female anatomy, and that people tend to stick to those “norms” because it is what sells the ‘likes’.
