wednesday going near insane with maps and the very few clues she has on enid's whereabouts after spending an entire semester mentioning her in pretty much every conversation she had with her parents.

mortica, worriedly watching: darling, should we tell her?

morticia, sighing: i know, but the way she talks...oh, i would be remiss in letting her go on without a clue.

months later, after wednesday found enid and it's currently rehabilitating her back into humanity.

wednesday, though gritted teeth: mother, i require your assistance.

wednesday: i require a medicine to quell heart palpitations. perhaps stress finally got to me.

morticia, disguising her eye twitch: stress...of course. i'll see to it.

wednesday, already taking her leave: thank you, mother. father.

gomez, sitting on the floor assembling a small train track: tish...

morticia, head in hand, mumbling: i'm being tortured...this is punishment from that one time i tried to sneak gomez in my mother's house. karmic debt...

morticia, sighing as his lips touch her arm: it's been almost two years...oh! the pain this unspoken love brings me...

graduation comes. wednesday and enid explain their plans, they found an apartment near their chosen college and will move in together. gomez and morticia gladly decide to pay for it so they can solely focus on their studies.

enid thanks them and looks at wednesday with stars in her eyes, excitedly clapping about not having to work and miss the fun parts of university with her bestie.

gomez, after they retire to bed: well...

morticia: they'll be in their thirties, sleeping in the same bed and musing about the greatness of friendship

the next day wednesday finds a journal on her nightstand. on the first page: I Am In Love With My Roommate. Here's The Next Steps.
