i'm holly, and i am the yoga bride. truth be told, i am actually no longer a bride... i was married in august 2013, so i've officially transcended to "wife" status. i'm also a yoga teacher, and a wedding planner, so I am pretty sure i still qualify... you're probably wondering what these two things have to do with one another... SO much, you guys. it's my belief when it comes to brides (or the maid of honor, mother of the bride, wedding planner, groom.... or anyone else involved in your day, for that matter) - we could all use a little yoga. i don't necessarily think we all need to stop and drop into child's pose in the middle of the ceremony rehearsal (although that would be awesome), but i do think we could all use a bit of "zen" when it comes to the wedding process. during my time as a wedding planner and a bride myself, i see so many of us brides rushing from one appointment to the next, worrying about budgets and bridesmaids, getting caught up in all the "important details" and forgetting to focus on what really matters; whether it's a grounding breath before you walk down the aisle, or being fully present when reciting your vows, it's my mission as the yoga bride to connect a bride with their wedding day.
