Guys, please send me asks on this random high school (although I think they're gonna be skipping school most of the time so dunno how accurate that is) AU thing I've been daydreaming for weeks!
I wanna yap about it but it exists as vaguely constructed scenes in my head.
In short (also shush, I like terrible high school pieces of media that have angst) Haymitch and Lenore Dove are like in a bad crowd. It revolves a bit around Haymitch with Louella and Sid at the start but then I know Lenore Dove is gonna die cos that's a scene I have planned out so I want it to be like a haysilee found family siblinghood but I also want Haymitch to actually have a chance to get over Lenore Dove and move on a little so hayffie? But then I want the dual narration to be from Haymitch and Maysilee because plot points revolve around that and the like Effie part I've planned doesn't need too much narration however I feel like romance fics should be from the eventual love interest? And I very much don't want to do romantic haysilee because that just doesn't work. I don't know daydreaming should not be this stressful.

Anyways, for your fact, I think that Haymitch's little brother was named after Sid Hatfield who (I highly recommend looking it up yourself, it's a really interesting story) who was a Sheriff in a miners town and vocally supported the unionisation of miners and uh, kinda got shot for it spurring many riots.
