man i don’t even know i don’t have very specific headcanons like that. hmmmmmmmmmm let me think things up

usually they get along fine just talking about normal stuff. but oh boy. when it gets into the topic of Heavy Things either 1) they’re fine and can talk about that shit deeply and how it affected them and stuff or 2) they end up getting in a Really Nasty Fight. aoi’s convinced that light can’t understand what he specifically went through and light’s like wow you are being a stubborn shit

they have like... mini fights often but not like. fights? it’s just them conversing? they call each other shitheads casually, well more eloquently and less often on light’s end. they’ve just accepted that they don’t agree on a lot of shit and don’t bother making it into huge things

they can’t do shit like ~sharing clothes~ at all because aoi’s like 5′8 and light is at least 6 foot

neither of them went through a straight phase they both knew they were gay as fuck from the beginning this simplifies things slightly
