The thing about Florence and being convinced she's A Bad Kid (re:last post I might've actually reblogged on the other blog, whoops!) is that she takes that as a resignation. She Is Bad, and that is immutable, and so there's no point trying to change it. She's going to do whatever she has to, because Bad People aren't ever rewarded, they have to take anything they need or want
She is not distressed by her bone deep conviction that she's one of the bad ones, though. This is a fact as neutral to her in her mind as that her eyes are blue. There's no point in being distraught over such facts of life. It's unfair, sure, but that's what it is
