Ha! I'm using Duolingo to relearn my Spanish too! :P
I’m currently relearning German too ;) Somehow I find Duolingo a better revision tool than a self-learning one. Maybe I’m among the few but I just need serious focuses on grammar (I just need to have it as organised as possible and making all the notes drove me crazy) and pronunciation (preferably coached by a native).

Happy birthday! I am also glad you're alive and I get to read your adventures and thoughts.
Are the kitties yours? Do you still have them? They look cute!
Thank you! Unfortunately, no. They both passed away last year. I miss them greatly, for they were indeed precious cuties! I’m finally ready emotionally to get another cat (or two), but my personal situation right now prevents it. Perhaps next year. :)
chelmsleywood said: you know I really made my core group of Tumblr friends through Call the Midwife - that was such a great community! Also yay 2000!
It was, wasn’t it? In fact, I’m sure the current community still is great - I like to think that programming of that quality makes for viewers of similar quality. I suppose it’s just that back in series one and two it felt like we were such a small community we all followed each other, hehe. That said, I have quite a few episodes to make up before I’m up to date. Your posts about AWC have made that show quite tempting though... (Aww, thanks. :) Although it’s not really an “achievement” so much as how good the company is on tumblr.)

And happy to be in yours. ^^ Also, did I see you blog some GBBO earlier? Are you ready to board that train...?
Mad Eye and Cedric Diggory please. :)
Hello!!! :D And thank you so much for asking. Waving madly from over here! :)
Mad Eye Moody:Who is the bravest person you know?
It’s definitely not me! ;) Maybe it was my father. The biography of this person!!! So scary and amazing! It was filled with changes and challenges and hard decisions he had to take, it was also filled with hope and strength and cleverness and love. He had to be extremely brave to thrive in this adventure of a life that happened to him.
Cedric Diggory:Have you ever had a near death experience?
No. Luckily!
Although... the first time I was forced to sing Mahler’s second symphony I definitely felt like decomposing!!! Does that count? ;)
(I swear this was the first word that came to mind.) Pulchritude.
Ooh, a word for this asky thing. Thank you thinkture.
Pulchritude (noun: physical beauty; comeliness – yes, I hadto look that up)
When I was on the cusp of adolescence andbeginning to be take an interest in makeup and fashion, especially if there wasa social event coming up, my mother once said to me that I “wasn’t going to bea looker anyway, so I might as well focus on my studies.” My now-adult selfrecognises that it was just a method, however poorly-conceived, to get me to focuson homework, but at the time, it really stung. It took me until my earlytwenties to come around to the fact that there was nothing wrong with the way Ilooked, and perhaps more importantly, that being aesthetically pleasing andintellectually stimulating are not mutually exclusive qualities of a person.
