i'm finally watching all of kingdom: legendary war instead of just the stray kids' performances (oops), and my brain knew that their cover of "i'll be your man" apparently ranked last, but i dead ass refused to believe it because that song is without a doubt one of my favourite covers of all time. so imagine my utter shock/horror/DISGUST to learn that the rumours were in fact true.

after watching all the performances and then watching stray kids nail one of the most vocally insane songs ever... truly, and i say this with the utmost disrespect to the 'experts' who voted- but, royally fuck you.

there is no fucking way that performance deserved last place. for the han/seungmin/changbin verse (you fucking know the one) alone they deserved top 3 at bare fucking minimum.

you've got my man changbin cracking that rap line out at lightning speed whilst barely taking a single breath- a verse that was actually performed by two people in the original version, please note gentle reader. then we see seungmin's neck vein popping so vigourously on the crisp as fuck harmony that blends so spectacularly with han it gave seonghwa chills, and lastly, the bias wrecker to wreck all biases, my 4th gen ACE, han fucking jisung belting out top fucking c's (please correct me if i'm wrong it's been a while since i last had to sight read) like his life fucking depends on it and you mean to tell me you ranked my boys dead last?

so once again i say,

side note, ps, whatever you wanna call it...my precious baby innie who apparently hit a bum note at the end there? WHERE? WHERE? AAAAAAND WHERE? If I didn't have to watch my precious maknae cry his little heart out over a performance he apparently 'messed up' i would never have known he did. that last note of his was gushing with emotion, and i know these boys pride themselves on *perfection* but sometimes an emotional vocal "crack" can make a performance so much more intense and convey the message of the song so beautifully. that's exactly what that note did for me. it solidified the devastation of the sacrifice. and if i ever get lucky enough to meet baby jeongin i'll tell him exactly that.

(also special mention to my man bang chan for his insane backing vocals- hello high note, i heard you, i love you. keep doing you. felix- your vocal range drives me insane for all the best reasons. and lee know, baby, that falsetto??? fuck me UP. hyunjin- i miss you more than air. don't ever leave me again.)

Anon you are close to getting yourself blocked. I'm going to make a statement in the hopes that I won't see more of this behavior in the future.

Don't wish harm to my OC's. Do not state, even as a joke, that you want to kill off my OCs because you dislike seeing them interact with your fictional crushes.

This isn't even the first time I've gotten anon hostility for one of the female characters, for Selma, and it's really starting to bother me how quick some of you guys are to hate women because you're thirsty.

I am down to do the fluffy, romantic, indulgent anon x char drabbles I think they're sweet and fun, but please keep in mind, Anon is not a canon character and the drabbles for anon exist outside of the AU and have no impact on the interpersonal relationships that take place in it.

In the canon version of the story some members of the crew are women and, surprise, surprise, spending 3 years with the people around you can lead to bonding, sometimes with the result of sexual or romantic relationships forming.

tbh I don't know what you're even jealous of, Edward is a grey aromantic and Selma isn't looking for romance herself, they're never at any point an official couple.

oh wow, a year summary, bit too late

aka 2022 was a fucking nightmare and it keeps going

i had barely any time and energy to create what i wanted this year cause i spent majority of it being at my worst. but to find something good in it, i do like those fast sketch portraits

to explain my situation - i moved from an asscrack of the world into a big city in september 2021 to find a job bcs in that small town i was year on unemployment cause jesus fuck there’s 0 jobs there. we fucked up. the realter was a lying bitch. i ended up in the worst disctrict the city has to offer, incredible start if i say so myself, feared walking home everyday

so i spent about 9 months there being miserable and then i managed to move out! yay! a great location, i like it here really, bonus point for seeing crows daily, love the funky guys

this apartment is old piece of shit where things barely work. i was in a rush to gtfo cause my lease was ending in like a week and i had to find a place fast af and everyody is now picking who to let move in and let me just say that nobody trusts a single person working retail can reliably pay rent so i got denied on every apt except this shit one and i couldnt be looking any longer so i just had to take it

so i’m back to being miserable, even worse now, as we wasted money on another moving, rent is high as shit, and i don’t even have a properly functioning heating here. why wont i report the broken things? oh i did. i got told by the owner “well nobody before was complaining about it” and thats where it end. fucks sake i have just one working burner here, i havent cooked since october. i dont see myself drawing here any good stuff anytime soon, all i do is get home and go into bed under covers cause i’m cold as shit

we plan to move this year again. mom here to this city and find a place for both of us together. when is that happening i dont know. i hope it’s soon. i want to be sane and create again

Wilford (definitely pan. Will fuck anyone or anything. Has married a man at one point and asked Abe if they dated. Joke or no joke, again still has a motive)

I don’t know i cant really say who is and isn’t fruity. Cause they could act not queer but could still be queer. Thats what sucks about media is that queerness in media usually is played off as a joke or if someone is queer they’re just a pawn or dies. So im only saying i know is speculated as queer with evidence cause thats all you can tell from media. These people aren’t real so you need context clues such as this. I cant just say like google or yan are trans or gay or whatever cause i have nothing to back it up if this makes sense

Thats why ppl even straight cis ppl think gatsby and nick are a bit queer for each other due to the context clues that are in the book. If you just throw in a thing that says a character will suck a dick without really meaning it, ppl are gonna come to the conclusion that they’re gay if you know what i mean

Like i know mark says you don’t have to look i to everything and while that is true its also just as important to make sure the actions/words of said character has a meaning to it. Cause they aren’t real and we see a sliver of their life. Plus it means so much to queer people (including myself) to get queer representation. Even if we get let down by gay baiting its that tiny bit of hope

So my boss is quitting in 2 weeks. And I’m really happy for her, she’s moving on to a job that will let her mind relax and she’ll see her family more. Every mother deserves to see her children. But god. God god god. She was such a good boss and such an amazing friend. I’m scared of what a job I’ve come to love will turn into when she leaves. It’s literally just me and her and our maintenance guy. My next boss will be sharing one office with me for 9 fucking hours. If this new person doesn’t treat me well then there’s no fucking point to me keeping the job. I’ll find something better. But I don’t want to. I love my job, I love where I work, I love my residents.
