my favorite headcanon about Stan is that he is just. immune to being traumatized by weird stuff. you could show him the nightmare realm and he'd be like "well I don't understand this and I don't see any reason why I should so I'm just not gonna think too hard about it" and just... outright refuses to be traumatized without even trying
