Here's another struggle: Pride and social media. I am utterly controlled by a desire to get likes, up votes, reblogs, whatever, when I post. I look at what I have written or photographed and want acclamation for it. Really, I'm even writing about this topic on a blogging site so that my wounded pride can have a little stroke. Who am I serving through having to hit certain targets of likes? My pride and my sin. It is no good, it does not glorify God. Lord Jesus, take this need to be virtually nourished and accepted away from my egotistical heart.
