i love the Yang/Weiss dynamic just in a friendship sense, like Weiss “queen of everything even the team she isn’t really in charge of but ‘the leader is technically my partner so i have some pull’” Schnee and Yang “I’m her sister so i technically have the same if not more pull than you” Xiao Long always arguing(good naturedly ofc). Tell me that beacon rwby didn’t have prank wars and tell me that it wasn’t just weiss and yang fucking with each other, and also tell me Blake and Ruby didn’t also set up pranks posing as Yang or Weiss to mess with them further

Beacon RWBY things i like

Yang v Weiss prank wars, that always end in a team meeting/intervention and both Weiss and Yang are comically injured/physically affected like a singed Weiss and a shark hanging off Yang’s hair

Group Halloween costumes are ENFORCED. Ruby especially takes it very seriously and she (and eventually Weiss) will do routine inspections the september/october leading up to Halloween to make sure all costumes are prepared appropriately

Blake doesnt tell RWY why she can’t go home for the holidays, so instead of grilling her on why, they just decide to celebrate at Beacon instead of going home, and have their own mini thanksgivings and christmases out of their dorm room.

Team JNPR gets in on the tradition as well, and came up with the idea for a gift exchange, Yang is embarrassed she didn’t come up with it first

Ruby and Blake are the best gift givers out of all of them, one year it was Weiss’ turn to get Yang a gift, and being too embarrassed to ask Ruby or Blake for help she just wrapped a stick of deodorant.

For New Years, Yang will load modified firework shells into ember cecilia, and with blake and weiss’s coordination will help put on a firework show for the Beacon student body
