Hancock: disgusted.  offended.  asks “what kind of god.....”  eventually he puts their Philosophical Differences aside, but he still deliberately takes over gyms from mystic (the same FUCKING ONE with the same FUCKING DRAGONITE i swear to fucking GOD).  sole doesnt have the heart to tell him the dragonite is theirs.

Preston: he’s excited!  he likes the diversity, and he knows that different teams are for different types of people.  you can tell a lot about someone based on which weird bird they picked.  very proud whenever they take over hancocks gym with their dragonite, always there to cheer them on during battles.
