You're over here trying to make sure the economy doesn't collapse and your cousin meanwhile is pissing himself about how he needs everyone to respect him. You report his own lackey's bullshit on him and the first thing he does is make a joke about how upset you look in front of the entire formal court including your dad ("how high a pitch his resolution soars") and you just have to take it. Constantly. Until he makes you lose out on your last moments with your dad. And not only that, he's gonna make you're penniless when you return because he's decided your inheritance is his shiny new spending money, and so if you play 100% by the rules you know he'll just ruin you forever and ruin england and--

And everyone is siding with you!! Sure, your uncle is "neuter" but he's letting you stay at the castle and even he admits this has gone too far. Even mr 'never want to rock the boat too hard' is agreeing! And everyone is egging you on because you have a just cause, and you're trying to do things by the book, it's not like you're allowed a lawyer because look how court went for you--
