BIOGRAPHY
Growing up in Phoenix, Arizona was pretty simple for Dixon. Surrounded by a family who loved him, he was able to have a normal childhood. He, along with his two siblings, had their fair share of aventures and play-fights (sometimes real) and there was little to no reason to be unhappy. He was an average student at best, though it was mentioned several times that if he applied himself some more he could do better than what he was doing. However, it was the arts in which Dixon thrived. He was the school drummer for five years and played baseball every weekend for his local team. The only thing was, no matter how hard he tried or how many baseball games he won; he was never good enough. At least, not when compared with his brother. With the constant comparisons lingering over his head, his relationship with his brother and parents only seemed to worsen over time. This led to Dixon doing what most kids his age did: he stopped caring... mostly. He did what he wanted, when he wanted and with who he wanted. It was a subtle destruction of what he had built up over the years, but he just did not care. It was the kind of control that he reveled in.
However, every action brought consequences, and that had never wrung as true as it did one night at a birthday party during the summer of 2007. At the age of seventeen, Dixon could have claimed that he knew everything. Nothing could touch him and his friends; they were invincible. Unstoppable. That night proved how wrong they really were. As the drinks flowed, and Dixon's soberness ebbed away, the world soon was spinning. It didn't take long for Dixon to pick a fight with one of his classmates; the boyfriend of a girl that Dixon had liked for most of his high school career. With the gauntlet thrown down and the promise of fight to the finish match, the party was soon left in favour of an alley behind the house, where Dixon and Connor Daniels gave into the anger and booze fuelled desire to prove they were the strongest. As it continued, a bloodied Dixon shoved Connor away and as a result he fell backwards and smacked his head off the ground. The force of the hit killed the male instantly, leaving the Dixon and his friends frozen in shock and distress.
Ever since then, Dixon has been on the constant search for redemption. As soon as he graduated high school he joined the police academy, with the knowledge that his careless actions and inane desire to take what someone else had was being left behind, he did his best to forge a future that would both atone for his actions and prove that he is not a bad person. Even though he was cleared of any charges brought up against him, Dixon wanted to serve time. This was the only option that would give him that while also benefitting others and his life.
PERSONALITY
Dixon is not the smartest boy that you'll ever meet; he's not even close. He tries to combat this fact with his physical aptitude and creative thinking. He tends to work on the outskirts of the box and is the kind of guy that would kick a door down to save a burning waffle from the toaster rather than simply using the handle. He's incredibly impulsive and tends to act accordingly, barely giving himself time to evalute and revaluate before acting. However, absolutely nothing would stop him from entering situations that a normal person would hesitate to go near. Despite his habit of not letting people close enough to figure out his secrets, he is highly protective of those that get past that initial walls. Once breached, Dixon would not think twice about throwing his body in front of a bullet or two to save a friend; regardless of how long he has known that person for. When he's not superheroing it up with the Las Vegas Police Department, Dixon tends to make an effort to avoid staying in one place for too long. He has now been in Las Vegas for about two months now and he has yet to unpack a single box. He tends to move when things push him past his limits.
CONNECTIONS
Older Brother: Dixon spent the majority of his younger years wanting to be exactly like his older brother, but as time went on and he became more comfortable in his own skin, their relationship gradually became less strained, allowing them both to eventually get through a conversation without fighting. Dixon still looks up to the male and would do anything for him.
Younger Sister: Like most older brothers, Dixon is incredibly protective of his sister. Not only that, she’s also the only one that he has shared what had happened that fateful night with. He often leans on her for support when it gets rough, but always feels guilty due to him feeling like he should look after her, not the other way around.
