I’m going to make your asshole professor say that everyone whose paper was above a 15% similarity score on turnitin has to resubmit or get a zero. Your paper has a 16% score and 15 of that 16% is literally your citations that have been flagged because they matched reference sections of other papers that cited the same papers you did.
That is, you cited a paper in APA format and someone else who posted their paper online cited the same paper in APA format, and of course the same paper cited in the same format is going to have the same citation in both places. And turnitin is going to mark this as plagiarism for some reason. For every citation you did.
So you can’t fix the similarity score because to get it below 15% you’d have to alter or remove at least one citation. Which you can’t do, because altering it would make it incorrectly formatted (or just plain incorrect) while removing it would be ACTUAL REAL plagiarism
