Okay yeah I’m definitely thinking about Wayne and Hopper now like there is so much ANGST just waiting to happen with them but they could truely just make eachother calm

we all (hopefully) know gallows creek is located in the state of Iowa, but have you ever wondered specifically WHERE in Iowa?

Well I’ll tell you.

As a part of my Henry’s Trial series, I did a lot of digging to find a suitable court to draw. This meant looking up population densities of the different counties in Iowa in the 80’s to compare with what we know about Gallows Creek (the town has like 1,000 people and is basically surrounded by farmland and wilderness, including a river)

The most likely county is….

Ringgold county.

The county in red on the border of Missouri. In the current day, it has a population of less than 5,000 people. Less so back then.

It also has a not insignificant part of the Missouri River basin going through it.

I don’t think I used it’s county seat for the drawing in the end for whatever reason but

in 1x15 edward says cuddy hired house 8 years ago, and since the timeline of house md is the same as irl, that makes it around 1993

cuddy was born on jan 17 1968 (approximately cause that’s the date of the episode of her bday [7x09] and cause we know she turned 43 [7x08]) meaning in 1993 she was 25

but in 7x08 she says she applied for her job at 29…

the maths are not mathing…
