Oh, I was just talking to someone that his contract was probably negotiated with some wiggle room into season 8 so that they wouldn't have to renegotiate it. Come on, this is listing Devin, Edy, Malcolm-Jamal, Brain Hallisay, Rick, like, this is all people we saw in s7 that are not coming back. Rick's character died, are we bringing Doug back in some twisted doppelganger plot too? Like, pleeeeease, this is very clearly the contract for last season with some wiggle room, considering the dates the strike ended and when people went back to work, this contract could be set to be done within a year and renegotiated into the new season.
