i had forgotten and overlooked how GOOD doctor who season 9 is. it really is good. it is stuck in my mind now. the themes, the parallels, the foreshadowings, it all rhymes and works together in a crescendo which builds up gloriously and lyrically and tragically... and then quietens down in a mundane bittersweet ending. it really is good imho
