This man is definitely a DEVOTED man, he loves his wife and shows you off every chance he gets. He's attentive to you, but sometimes he forgets silly things like running errands you asked him to do!

no one would blame him for it. certainly not his parents, because his mouth wasn't made to speak this language at all. not people at school, because otherwise they'd be sent to the head's office. none of his friends, because they don't care, they love him regardless.
but i think clark would have cared.
i think that's why he chose to go into writing, because it's an easier way to communicate what he wants to say. no one will have to take the time to listen to his broken speech or sit through his pauses. he wouldn't panic mid sentence thinking people were judging him. no one knows when you hesitated while writing, because they just read the final draft. and he could go back and edit his work until it was perfect. no one had to hear his hesitations, so they'd take him more seriously. actually consider what he was saying rather than tuning him out after thirty seconds.
i think this is also why he decides to become superman. so he doesn't have to hesitate anymore. and so people will listen.
Silly character explanation and description ahead <3
I’m working on a silly animation and this is the most fun I’ve had drawing in a minute asides from fun fanart stuffs. So let me explain my oc and these two keyframes from said animation.
This is Ethan, an oc I’ve had since middle school, when I was younger he was a choir teacher who formed a pop/punk band with a bunch of strangers and got to know them through the band.
Now he’s a college student/student teacher who joins his best friends band as a lead singer that has a more pop/edm sound.
One of the key things I told myself I wouldn’t change and would just improve on were his defining features that made him iconic to me and my little friend group when I was younger… so his bright blue hair and purple eyes.
My reasoning when I was younger was that he just had really bad eye sight and it made his eyes purple, and I’ve decided to keep that and choose to have a more fantasy element with it and just have purple eyes be a rare condition (which sounds like Alexandria’s Genesis but you get super blind from it instead of “perfect” or whatever 😭). So Ethan is still blind asf- and asides from preforming and music videos he has the THICKEST. Glasses known to man kind.
Blue hair, I’m not gunna lie. I don’t think I could ever change if I tried. It’s one of his many defining features and I feel like even with the blue hair I can give him variety of hair styles that match up with the hair texture I want him to have, I just need to workshop how I’d draw his curl type.
I’m still working on what hair style I feel suits him, so for now he does just have generic wavy hair while I animate and feel out what texture hair I want him to have.
