y'know that moment when you figure out your niche in a craft? long-form fiction is always something i've struggled with writing, whenever i try it feels like i'm squashing smaller pieces into a disjointed whole, but those smaller pieces come very easily to me and feel robust. it's when i try to daisy chain them into a bigger work that the issues start

i read a lot of and really enjoy short story anthologies

who has two thumbs, has been writing for 20 years, and just realized that it, too, can write short stories
