Why do people say that Peeta is manipulative? At the end of Mockingjay, Peeta had every right not to go back and be with Katniss. But yet he did because he loved her to much not to go back. Gale let Katniss wither away in her own depression without a letter or any sort of communication. He left for District two without even saying goodbye.
