25. what does it take for your oc to trust someone?

Hmm, good question...Kerra’s pretty quick to trust because of her empathy; she can usually tell when someone’s lying or has bad intentions. So, on a basic surface level of trust, you’d need to have good vibes, basically (which is not the best way to say that but I can’t think of a better one asdjadf). To actually full-on trust you to the point where she’s telling you her secrets, she’d need to share enough experiences/conversations with you that she feels like she really knows you. This isn’t really a solid line, but generally, something about there!

26. do they have a lot of mood swings?

Not really, but if she’s in a place with a lot of people and a lot of conflicting emotions and her mind’s unshielded, it can make her own emotions swing and get lost in the flood. Luckily, that’s rare. Unluckily, she mainly drops her shields when she’s too emotionally exhausted/hurt/distraught to keep them up*, and those tend to be really bad times to have an influx of other peoples’ emotions in your brain.

*Not including the times when she’s doing it deliberately. For me rambling about how Kerra’s power works, check out this thing!

2. Where is your commander from?

Short answer is Divinity’s reach. Long answer is it’s grown up all over Kryta, but most foster homes it was put in were in Divinity’s Reach, and that’s where it resides whenever living on the streets in turn.

6. Who is always by your commander, through thick and thin?

Braham, Taimi, and Rox. The four really bonded over being various levels of insignificant until suddenly it was their jobs to save the world. They do a lot together between big world saving adventures, nearly inseparable!

18. How much money has your commander lost to Canach?

None! Joel doesn’t gamble. The unsureness of the game and the chance to lose any amount of money on a guess isn’t appealing at all to it. It’ll leave the betting to those who enjoy risking their funds

1 - Are they woodier or leafier? Succulent, deciduous, evergreen?

Vie has the wood body in-game, but I’ve been thinking about her being a little more leafy but scarred, especially after everything she’s been through.

4 - What kind of climate are they least comfortable in?

Already answered here, so I’ll answer 5 for you ;p

5 - What’s their relationship with gender?

That thing humans are weirdly obsessed with. She doesn’t really pay attention, nor does she get fussed about people using the wrong pronouns for her. She just prefers feminine.

20 - Their biggest secret?

If we don’t count all the Pact secrets she has, then just how big that “cloud” of Nightmare she has is. Or even just that it’s there. She hates letting people know. Especially Caithe.

1) Are they woodier or leafier? Succulent, deciduous, evergreen?

Definitely leafier! I’m “cheating” a bit because this is technically question 2 and not question 1, but (as of me making her moodboard, at least) Kerra’s based off of this plant:

It’s called a Persian shield plant, and they grow in tropical environments. They’re perennial, but she keeps her leaves year-round, though she has to shield them in particularly sunny/hot or cold environments. And the leaves seen above are a decent approximation of what Kerra’s hair leaves/ferns look like!

19) least favorite food?

I was tempted to say the toxin-cured hog, but I think that’s everyone’s least favorite food asldjfasdf (if it even qualifies as “food” lol). Her least favorite food would probably be gelatinous ooze custard--the taste isn’t always horrible, but the texture is just not something she particularly cares for. (And yes, this is coming from someone who’s eaten much weirder things--she just doesn’t like the jello-custard at all alsdjfadf.)

🌷 Tulip: What springtime activities does your character do with the people they love? What do they do with who?

Rhi: Anything outdoors is something they absolutely love. They can and will jump in puddles and dance in the rain, and they will ask people for the names of every flower they can find. As for doing things with people, as long as it’s something they at least kind of enjoy and they’re with people they love, they’ll be happy.

Ari: She loves kites and has since she was a cub. It’s part of the reason she decided to learn to be a pilot. So if you find her doing anything fun during the spring, it’d probably be teaching kids (charr cubs or anyone else) how to fly kites, both for them and so she has an excuse to do it herself. (Rhi definitely has “dragged” her into flying kites before.)

🌱 Garden: Your character is tasked with filling a garden bed with whatever plants they choose. How do they react? What plants do they pick, and is there any reasoning behind their choices?

Rhi: They try to plant a little bit of everything (flowers, food crops, random seeds they found in the dirt by the side of the rode--anything goes). They end up making hybrid plants in the process by planting different things so close together, which is absolutely fascinating to them. 

Ari: She’d probably mostly pick practical plants, like potatoes and carrots, but she’d also plant strawberries--she loves them. She’s the original starter of that one strawberry field that’s in...the Iron Marches, I think? Whatever one you have to climb through a pipe to get to.
