I have worked behind a lot of lines and bars since I was 14 years old. These experiences and families that have been given to me have made me the woman, and given me a palate, I am proud of.
From Italian, Eastern European (thanks Mom), Greek, country style, American bar, eclectic fine dining, to Syrian, I have cooked and eaten it all and more.
When I make a dish I learned to cook from a kitchen I have worked in, it always makes me feel so nostalgic. Though, with a job in a completely different sector of the service industry, I feel most like myself cooking and drinking and bringing people together around it.
