Swipe for a surprise 🤩🤣 Hello everyone! Happy Sunday! What’s a book that has ‘second book syndrome’? Or that isn’t has good as the first one? I normally really like the second books in series, they are usually my favorite in the series. This Shattered World is one sequel that I don’t love though. I just don’t like the characters, the plot isn’t interesting to me, and the romance is just really dumb tbh. It just has a disconnect for some reason. I love the other two books in the Starbound trilogy, so I’m not sure what went wrong here. I did start rereading TSW last mouth but I put it down because I was reading like 4 other books at the time. I do want to finish rereading it before Their Fractured just because it introduces the characters in the next book really nicely. Another one is Never Fade, the second book in TDM. I’ve only read it one time but the one time I did I had a very hard time getting into it. I definitely consider it my least favorite in that trilogy. I also don’t love Prodigy for the Legend Trilogy. 🙃 Well I’m going to go back to organizing my earrings.
