still thinking about names in The Way Home and how there's so many characters named after a loved one (Alice, Jacob, Elliot named after a loved author) and this could be baseless but Jay (from Coyles)? Could be named after a Jacob?

If Thomas Coyle named a son Jacob it could've become a family name and Jay could've shortened it
