Just a little WIP drawing there.
This nightguard here is Thomas Linley, but inspired by/based on @hannahsbackroom , well, the hairstyle I believe. Drawing ClassicaLoid Mozart's braids quite pain in the ass.
Soon be finished (god knows when 🥲)

And just like that - the sequel to the Coffee Boy is at 22 chapters 🙈
Thomas comes face to face with his former life and his childhood dreams.
Is he ready to move on?
“MOZART IN ITALIEN” / “MOZART IN ITALY” The BAYERISCHE KAMMERPHILHARMONIE Reinhard GOEBEL - Mirijam CONTZEN Johann Adolf HASSE - Franz LAMOTTE - Thomas LINLEY - Wolfgang Amadeus MOZART - Venanzio RAUZZINI Thomas LINLEY Junior (1756 Bath - 1778 Grimshorpe, Lincolnshire) Violin Concerto in F Major: I. Moderato A wonderful production - an absolute discovery!
Thomas Linley the younger (1756-1778).
English singer, violinist and composer.
.
He was one of the most precocious composers and performers that have been known in England, and became known as the "English Mozart".
.
The Linleys were the most important and influential family of musicians in eighteenth-century Bath.
Thomas junior played a violin concerto in Bristol at the age of eight, and began to compose soon after. Thomas went to study with Nardini in Florence for three years in 1768, where he met and befriended Mozart, his exact contemporary. On his return in 1771 he became Bath’s leading violinist, a position he retained until 1776.
A significant amount of Linley's compositions have been lost including many in the Drury Lane Fire of 1809. Surviving works attest to his congenial mastery of melody, gift for counterpoint, and musical imagination.
.
He died in a boating accident.
.

Ode on The Spirits of Shakespeare
The Lyric Ode
The Song of Moses

Some self indulgent Thomas and Wolfie art because I love this duo to bits! The context is they’re attending a masked ball somewhere in Italy and having the time of their lives. Just two brilliant prodigies letting themselves be teens just for one night!
Ok this needs a song 🤭
