Thinking about Origins Victor again. Look how his nail beds split open when his claws extend! Do you think it hurts? Does Victor welcome the pain because it reminds him he has means to defend himself? A memory how he was able to defend himself against his father for the first time, scratching him? His father beat him bloody after that telling him to hide his claws, shave them off. But he couldn't beat the satisfaction out of him to be finally able to do something

Everytime Victor looks in the mirror he sees his father. The same grey eyes, the same lips, the same hair and even the same damn face shape. The man who beat him everyday, who drank and seduced women. The man he grew up to be. Violent, spiteful, absolutely repulsive. He felt like a failure. Like something less than human. So he became the animal. Because if people see him as that, why not give them want they want?
