In this hope we invest our energy so the seed will take hold and grow and bloom.
Her back is turned to the light. She looks at the dark, her path is clear (visual storytelling is visceral).
Eye that touched the world. Attention is turned inward and as the viewer observes the heroes so now does the Big Bad. Equivalence? Does the observation give energy to the story unfolding?
His beliefs weren't shaped by Aiels so hard in his bones like many that came before him and that is what saved him. He didn't believe so he walked out of crystal forest. Now he will shatter those cultural beliefs.
The children sold to the Dark. Death in the Ways. Whole getup reminds me of Bdsm Chris Claremont but with fashion twist. Moiraine is shamed Cersi - she killed Rand in the first half of visions, now it's her turn to be on the other side of the dagger. Mat looks so queer it slaps. Little Spider hiding and manipulating in the dark (another Chris Claremont trope!).
He carries her. Only they know what they went through, and isn't that a bond? Trust. They are now initiated and they will never be the same again. Reborn in those emotional fogs.

The Road to the Spear was such a visually striking journey. Some scenes are pure art.
The fire showed fear in her eyes when the hand was given to put the toys away and step toward what she must become.
The poetry of this shot. Are they outside the prison looking in, or inside the prison looking out at the lights? Beautiful. Wall of spears. Fence of spears. Letting go of the spear, far becomes near.
There is no going back. They choose their unknown. Don't look back.
Intervowen stories under the tree. Stories of lives, stories are life itself we weave and play out. (Shot is like they are somewhere outside of time. )
Weightless dancing inside the circles. Between life and death.
Attend you all to camera circling its way in and out of visions. Enter and exit. Start and finish. It really is such a small interval camera takes that it demands action, the one that opens the scene and the one that cuts the scene. Such a dizzying experience that hits like a bullet - the audience and the protagonist.
Beauty continues in all its myriad ways, ugly and painful, protective and defective, debts given and debts unpaid. She leaves.
Scenery changes, but pain remains on all the turned pages. She carries him. She failed. She is left.
She bows in his circle before him.
Precious things given. From my hand to yours. We value this sharing. And put trust above anything.
