Havel stared at the brightly dressed man with disdain. The smell of flame on him, it is unmistakable. This fool is a pyromancer, and a crazy one at that, judging by his garb.
Havel was not one to refuse interection with someone merely because he didn't like something about them, even the filthy followers of the Abomination, who he would gladly kill. So he spoke to the man.
"Greetings, good sir. I have a question for you. Friend or foe?"

▸ Long, pointed nails tapped against the iron window seal, as she impatiently gazed out over the Alonne kingdom. And brows sunk low with the sun, as night came upon them, and the Alonne knights that lined the room behind her stood seemed to grow antsy. Their mere presence annoyed her-- with the clear undying loyalty to their king--- they never showed such allegiance to her and the thought set her on fire--- temperament, nerves, alight at the thought of them. She spun to face the tenants of the room--- Alonne knights, and also occupying the room, the masked face of her congenial companion; her jester, her bodyguard, possibly the only member of this room who she knew she would be safe with. She didn't trust her husbands men to protect her, she didn't trust them not to strike her down if her husband said so--- Yet; there was one . . . one she didn't believe would betray her. one who obeyed her and one whom she trusted. "Fool,"She murmured, not making eye contact with him, "Come here," Brows pinched and her eyes skirted around the others in the room, "You all---get out." She commanded them.
thomasthejester replied to your post:(( i like how i post about broken canon...
:D
(( you're not broken. you don't write Thomas as anywhere close to broken, you write him as he is in game--a bastard. forgotten-warrior's character isn't broken; his flaws and struggles give him depth.
let me give you an example of broken: if i just said "oh hey laurentius can absorb humanity now without a dark hand or anything, he just does it" and didn't give a reason
that would be breaking him
if i made him a cleric of Thorolund when he was said in game to be from the Great Swamp
that would be breaking him
if i decided he could use chaos magic just because, even though he's never had the opportunity to learn
that would be breaking him.
if i just, for no reason, made Laurentius the world's biggest bastard, entirely uncaring of other people's feelings and concerns, who just murdered people for the hell of it--like, not even for humanity, just to kill them--and it wasn't because he'd gone Hollow/snapped
that would be breaking him.
you guys don't do any of that. ))

MISOGYNY AND ABLEISM COME TOGETHER TO CREATE A PROFOUNDLY MOUSELESS TRAGEDY
"So said the Jester with quite a yelp: HELP!"
3. Fallen down stairs and couldn’t get up
It wasn’t often that Aslatiel worked with the Jester. Now he could remember why. The man was a walking forest fire. Spectacular, if dangerous to everyone around him including himself. For example, shortly after melting a blue sentinel, he celebrated with 5 cartwheels. Well, 4 and a half. He took a spill over the edge of the cliff on that last one.
The Jester sat in a seemingly-unconscious pile of limbs about 20 feet below Aslatiel on a stone platform.
"Jester, I’m afraid your actions I must condone, will you be in need of a tomb stone?"
The red-cloaked Jester sent him what seemed to be a sarcastic thumbs up as he stood himself back on his feet. Aslatiel smiled.
"You’re going to have to wait a bit. I’ll find you a way back up, you twit."
I’m having entirely too much fun.
❤ :D
In all fairness, jester, you like people by default, no?
((Smooch u3u You're amazing, don't you forget it))
❤ ((Laur-mun is my senpai))
(( buwhuh huh WHAT. ))
