Could you please help me find resources for working with both Thor and Loki? I chose to work with Loki but felt called to Thor so after a lot of reflection I decided to work with both, but I’m having trouble finding resources on how to go about it. Thank you, and have a great day
Hi, Nonny.
The thing is, the worship of different gods doesn't fundamentally differ all that much in modern Heathenry. And as far as we know, there wasn't anything like the ouranic/chthonic distinction for historical heathens either. In a ritual sense, there's no reason worshiping Loki and Thor has to look different from worshiping Loki and anyone else, or worshiping Loki alone.
We have a blog specifically about Loki because Lokeans tend to be excluded or looked down on in a lot of online spaces, but most of the things we post can be more broadly applied to other Heathen gods.
You don't have to have separate shrines or anything. You don't have to do rituals differently, or hold separate rituals. Nothing's stopping you if you want to do any of these things, but it's not mandatory. You can just keep on doing what you've been doing. We do have a general Heathenry section in our reading list if you're brand new and kind of lost on how to go about worship in general.
I'll also put this in the tags to see if anyone who works with both Loki and Thor would like to share their writings or experiences. Every relationship is unique, and your practice may not end up looking like other people's practices. But insight from others never hurts!

Hi :) First off I'd like to thank you for the wonderful resources in your blog and website and how much effort you put into it all. I've only just discovered your online presence but I truly appreciate it. For my small question, do you know of any accounts here on tumblr who follow or are devoted to Thor? Searching his tag just gives me Marvel movies, but I feel drawn to him and would love to be able to follow some blogs accordingly. Thank you, and sorry for not coming off anon but I am a bit shy because I'm beginning to dip into an eternally-budding practice yet again.... :)
Thor devotees give a holler!
Also try checking out the #thordeity tag. This will help you ween out the Marvel stuff.
These last few days have been rough, and yet the one thing that's making it a bit more tolerable has been Thor showing up with a storm or two. So far, we haven't had any flooding and we didn't lose power at any point.
My living room window has a crack in it, so I can always hear the rain and smell the petichor out back. I'm sure my big guy would be loving this if he was still here since he would paw at the window until I'd crack it open so he could smell the rain - even if it would give him the sniffles. I suppose this is another way Thor is helping me to make sure I don't get too lonely and that the both of them are never too far away.
But, as the old saying goes, it can't rain all the time. Maybe my luck will come back soon and things aren't always going to be a mess. At least I have my health, sort of. I just need some things to finally work out and I'll call that a major victory for me. With that said, my devotional playlist decided that I needed to take one from Brothers of Metal's One and just have hope in the process that things will be okay.
Hail, Thor; He Who Rides Alone, The Hallower, and The Defender of the Common People. May he be with us to loan us strength, courage, and good laughter to get through these difficult times.
