22. For BokuAka
22. Things you said after it was overThank you for requesting!
Akaashi glanced over at Bokuto, mouth wide open, thoughts slowly connecting as he found Bokuto already looking at him, eyes wider than saucers, face blank with shock. “Akaashi… what the actual fuck did we just watch?”
“I… I don’t know, Bokuto,” he breathed back, shaking his head as he ran his fingers through his hair. “That was… weird.”
Bokuto nodded, lips moving in ghosts of words, but nothing quite coming out as he slowly turned back to the T.V. The credits still rolled down the screen, slow and steady, cheerful music playing, a complete turn-around from the end of the film that had just slapped them in the face. Akaashi slowly leaned forward and pressed his face into his hands. “I… can’t believe I just spent two hours of my life watching a movie that we don’t even understand.”
“I can,” Bokuto breathed, “But, like… how? How could that happen? The vampire- the sword- the mummy? And- and the kids! What about the children!”
Akaashi whipped around and grabbed Bokuto’s shoulders, fingers going tight as he leaned close, shaking slightly. “We can never watch this movie again,” he whispered, rocking Bokuto slightly.
Bokuto nodded frantically and flung himself forward, smacking Akaashi’s chin with his shoulder as he hugged Akaashi tight, fingers digging into his spine. “I just don’t understand,” he whispered, “Why did he kill Mr. Wiggles?”
“You’re asking the wrong person.”
Bokuto moaned quietly and buried his face into Akaashi’s shoulder. “Hold me.”
“I am, my arms are around you.”
“Hold me tighter.”
Akaashi groaned, but he tightened his grip on Bokuto and pulled him back until they spilled back onto the couch, his heavy body draped overtop Akaashi, pleasantly warm. Bokuto nuzzled his neck, hands twitching underneath him, and he smiled softly. “I think I can get over that emotional trauma like this,” he mumbled.
Akaashi snorted. “You’d better, because I’m not going to wake up at three in the morning so you can talk movie conspiracy theories again.”
Bokuto scrambled back, eyes wide, lips pushed out in a pout. “But… but Akaashi… this one has so much potential, and just-”
“I will make you sleep on the couch and lock the door.”
Bokuto’s lips pursed, but he sighed and dropped back on Akaashi. “Fine,” he grumbled, shaking his head as he kissed Akaashi’s jaw.
They settled into place, hands eventually moving and tangling together, breathing falling into sync. The credits had finished and another movie had started when Akaashi’s eyes cracked open and he sighed. “Okay, but what if-”
“I knew it!”
Why... why do I always do this? I started writing a short thing for that doodle of Stiles in the doctor birb mask and bloody Derek and now it's already two chapters long. I DID NOT WANT TO START WRITING ANOTHER NEW STORY HOLY CRISPY LASAGNA FACEBOOKBABY!

Are their food and water bowls clean?
Are they getting enough natural light through your windows?
Have you picked up all of your trash to ensure they don’t get sick?
Do they have enough stimulation in their environment? Are they overeating due to a lack of stimulation?
Are you constantly playing music, causing them auditory fatigue?

Your cat(s) can’t help where they live, but you can make sure they live comfortably.
