Sometimes, Evan gets these nauseating headaches, and all she can do is turn off the lights and bring down the temperature in the house to keep from vomiting. Loki used to just leave her alone at her request until one day he found her passed out by the toilet. He gently roused her, hands cold on her frame and it was enough to keep her from hurling another time. He flushed the toilet, picked her up and took her to the bed. He stayed there with her that night, hands pressed to comfort her, and it was the first time, in a long time, he appreciated the feeling of being wanted.
