I disagree. Before Stiles went to look for mama mccall he paused - to assess if Derek was dead or unconscious - then left. It may just be me, but I felt like the kiss thing was stiles rambling off being uncomfortable, dunno. He was leading Kali away from them both - I think Jennifer being with him was so that she could later deliver her promised goods (coras health, papa stilinski). Cheer up hunbuns :) I think there were quite a few - small things that actually held a lot of meaning.

I donno about the thing about Cora but Stiles stopped for Derek even while worrying for his dad, his mother-figure (Melissa) and his bro (Scott), Derek left Stiles and HIS SISTER because Kali wasn't after them, she was after Jennifer. He protected them by leaving them behind and hidden. I saw positive for Sterek tonight and thought the Cora thing was him being awkward and nervous and making a joke because he was relieved Cora was alive.

I may be the biggest pessimist, but seriously, I JUST finished The Overlooked, and my initial thought is that Sterek is fucking dead, guys!!
Stiles ran by a 'dead' Derek, he talked about kissing Cora (which I don't really care about cause she will be leaving), but it means he's thought about it, and he talked about the girls Derek has dated, and Derek RAN away from Stiles and Cora in he ambulance!!? Kali was there and he ran AWAY from Stiles, but ran with The Teacher?! And there was just NO Sterek feels AT ALL in this fucking episode!!
FUCK! I really hope I'm just a sad, sad pessimist!
So, I JUST got done watching 3x8 Visionary. I haven't even looked through any posts about peoples thoughts, but I'm sure I'm not the only Sterek shipper feeling a bit... umm.. numb after that episode?
Wasn't that pretty much the biggest "no" to Sterek ever happening?
Either Jennifer is Paige undercover, coming back to get revenge for "the bite". Which could make sense because Gerard talked about William Blake and something about being a friend when you're actually a foe or something like that, and the teachers last name is Blake too.
And the story was from Uncle Pete's POV, so she could not be dead.
Either that or Paige is actually Derek's dead "love of his life" and that kinda screws with my "But Stiles is the love of your life!" theory.
And then, of course the even bigger 'no to Sterek' scene.. Cora? Yes.. Was that not a flirting scene at the end? I'm pretty sure that it was, and even more, it was a goddamn Sterek scene just with a female version of Derek..
The one thing I can think of that works against the Cora/Stiles plot, is that the actress playing Cora said that Sterek "ships itself" on Twitter, and why the fuck would she even comment on Sterek if she knew she would be the reason for it not happening, you know? So I don't know, but it defo felt like a flirting scene, is all I'm saying.
I have lots of positive thoughts about the episode too (none Sterek related), but its always my Sterek thoughts that win that battle..
And now I'll go hunt for posts where people contradict everything I'm thinking so I can feel happy thoughts about Sterek again. ;)
